Feminine Form, Form Feminine At Black Swan Screen Printing

Feminine Form, Form Feminine will feature artwork created and inspired by women.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at Spring Street Studios, 1824 Spring St. Suite 103. The event is free and open to the public. Ann Brooks, owner of Black Swan Screenprinting, is organizing and hosting the show. Art created by five Houston women will be on display-

Brooks hopes guests will have a chance to discuss the art of screenprinting, as well as the art of the feminine form. “Black Swan can produce fine art screen prints, but artists can also use screen printing as part of their process. You can take a print, go back to the studio, and add more to it,” she said. “I hope to enlighten Houston about the art form of screenprinting and what it can offer artists. This city has an expanding printing community, and I would like to see it grow even more.” Black Swan will donate 20 percent of proceeds of the show to Wesley Community Center www.wesleyhousehouston.org/, which assists individuals in need of food, education and other services.

  1. Hello

I recently came across your website and thoroughly enjoyed looking at the work that is created at black swan. I have just recently moved to the United States from Scotland and was wondering if there are any job openings in the near future?

Please have a look at my own work at http://www.photogary.me for your consideration.

If you need any other information please do not hesitate to contact me on 832-696-2062

    Kind Regards
